This is under the "coming soon" section of my site. Once I have a few spare hours I plan on writing up my experiences in trying to grow hops. For now I'll leave you with this bit of information:
The hops we tried to grow fell to the claws of evil cats. The homegrown hops I've used grew on a front porch as a decorative plant, and their owner says he never touches them, they just grow like a weed.
I guess the moral is "Don't try too hard"
